We Gourmet Girls are really pumped up and excited as our lovely little book, “The Gourmet Girls Go Camping Cookbook,” that arrived just in time for the holiday season. And we celebrated by having our first book signing at Buttonwood Farm & Winery in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley.
We came bearing delicious morsels from our cookbook: our charcuterie platter, filled with duck pate, three lovely cheeses, three varieties of olives, and persimmons, grapes and kiwis which provided a sweet taste and a pop of color. We also served our Bison Chili, which, with its topping of cilantro and cheddar cheese, kept the folks who wandered out of the wine tasting room to our station on the veranda warm and cozy. Gourmet Girl Seyburn supplied some lovely wines that were specially paired to go with our selection of cheeses and the Bison Chili.
But the best part of all was meeting all of the wonderful folks who came out to support us and spend the afternoon in one of the most beautiful settings in Southern California.
